A Recollection is a film that explores what it means to access memories with familiar people in new environments. It was developed as a release of anxiety that has built up over the past year. The work is also a celebration of the trio's then three-year, now five-year, friendship. In the film, their paths intertwin resulting in the dancers reminiscing on the past.

My, Jade, and Elsa's bond has been unbreakable since they crossed paths at the Dance at Illinois Summer Intensive in 2018. This work was created after the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic while they traveled back and forth from school to get testing over break. We felt a need to make something together during the long break that we had that winter.
